Fionnuala Devine is an independent geologist working out of Atlin, and the North Okanagan.  Originally from a small northern BC community, she has worked travelled extensively overseas and brings a strong geoscience technical background as well as personal perspective to mineral exploration advocacy in BC.

She operates Merlin Geosciences, providing geological mapping and geoscience-based services to companies developing mineral properties in BC.  A B.Sc.(UBC) and M.Sc. (Carleton) included regional geological mapping with the British Columbia Geological Survey, and the Yukon Geological Survey where she developed a passionate interest in geoscience related to mineral deposits.  Her strong technical background led to BC and international exploration experience with Teck Cominco.  Recent projects have focused on early-stage exploration including traditional and technical prospecting based on strong geoscience, as well as deposit- and district-scale geological mapping and research.   She brings a research-based focus to on-the-ground exploration.
