Prior to Kiska, Jason held the position of President and CEO for Rimfire Minerals Corporation, a position he held since 2007. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, he acted as Manager of Corporate Communications for Rimfire from 1999-2007. Jason was appointed President and CEO of Kiska Metals Corporation in August 2009, upon the merger of Rimfire and Geoinformatics Exploration to create Kiska. His career was launched in 1993 as a Project Geologist with two consulting groups and a Vancouver-based junior explorer. In 1995 Jason joined Equity Engineering Ltd., working in Western Canada, Labrador and Central America. Active in promoting the exploration industry, Jason is Chair of Mineral Exploration Roundup, one of the world's largest annual exploration conferences and is a member of the board of directors for the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia.
