Jason Weber

Jason Weber is President and CEO of Kiska Metals Corporation, a Vancouver, BC-based exploration company with projects in Alaska, British Columbia and Australia. Previously, Jason held the position of President and CEO of Rimfire Minerals Corporation until the merger of Rimfire and Geoinformatics Exploration Inc. to create Kiska in August of 2009.

After completing his B.Sc. (Geology) at the University of British Columbia in 1993, he worked as a Project Geologist with two consulting groups and a Vancouver-based junior explorer. In 1995 Jason joined Equity Engineering Ltd. as a Project Geologist, working in Western Canada, Labrador and Central America. He joined Rimfire in 1999 and became its President and CEO in 2007. 

Active in promoting the exploration industry, Jason has spent 10 years on the organizing committee of AMEBC’s Mineral Exploration Roundup conference, including four years as the conference chair or co-chair. Jason has been a member of the board of directors for the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia since 2009.
