'Lyn Anglin Ex-Officio
Geoscience BC 'Lyn Anglin was appointed President and CEO of Geoscience BC in 2006. Prior to joining GBC, she was the acting Director of the Pacific Division of the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC). She has spent over 20 years managing exploration geoscience research projects in various areas across Canada. 'Lyn is a geologist and her research expertise is in mineral deposit geology and radiogenic isotope geochemistry. She has a B.Sc. from Queen's University, a Master's from Memorial University in Newfoundland, a PhD from Carleton University, and is registered as a Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC 'Lyn is a member of the boards of Geoscience BC, the Resources North Association, and the Association for Mineral Exploration BC. She is also a member of the Steering Committee of The School of Exploration Mining at Northwest Community College in Smithers, serves on committees of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Society of Economic Geologists, and is a former President of the Geological Association of Canada. |
