Mona Forster Chair, AME BC
Entrée Gold Inc. Mona M. Forster is Executive Vice President at Entrée Gold Inc. Ms. Forster’s focus throughout her career (over 20 years associated with the mining industry) has been on the effective management of administrative functions to successfully support business operations as well as providing strategic advice to the executive team. Ms. Forster graduated from the Executive MBA program at Simon Fraser University in October 2005. This educational experience further complements her understanding of business processes. She brings a unique perspective to AME BC, having worked in many aspects of the mining industry. Her experience includes five years at an operating gold mine in the Canadian Arctic, six years in environmental consulting and over eight years in exploration, both domestic and international. This has given her a broad understanding of the issues facing producing mining companies, junior exploration companies and the consulting firms that support these firms.
Ms. Forster has been a director of AME BC for six years and is a member of the Executive Committee and a representative on the Labour Market Shortage Task Force. She also volunteered for six years as a member of the organizing committee for the Mineral Exploration Roundup conference. |
