Robert Boyd

Robert Boyd is a mining executive with 35 years’ experience in exploration, executive-level management, corporate finance and corporate governance. Robert is currently President CEO and Director of Endurance Gold Corporation which he assumed in April 2010.  Robert currently serves as Lead Director for Peregrine Diamonds Ltd, non-Executive Chairman for True North Gems, Director of Endurance Gold, Condor Resources, and Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada. He formerly served as President, CEO and Director of Athabasca Potash which was acquired by BHP in early 2010 and was the President, CEO and Director of Ashton Mining of Canada Inc, the discoverer of the Renard diamond deposit in Quebec. For seven years Robert was a founding principal and major shareholder of a financial and strategic advisory firm, and formerly Vice President Exploration for Homestake Canada Limited for 10 years.

Robert is a geologist and gemmologist. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of BC, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, the Society of Economic Geology and a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, and a fellow of the Gemmological Associations of Great Britain and Canada.

Robert has been a Director of AME BC since 1997 and presently serves on the AME BC Finance Committee. From 1992 through to 2006, he served as a member of the Roundup Organizing Committee including seven years as conference chairman.
