In 2002, Simone graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in English Literature and a minor in Commerce. She has over seven years of event planning experience and has coordinated events for the Vancouver Public Library, Vancouver Recreational Softball League and the BC NDP. As Manager, Special Events, Simone is responsible for organizing all AME BC events including the Annual Open House, Golf Tournament, and Speaker’s Series. During Roundup, Simone works with various committees to coordinate the Core Shack, Prospector’s Tent, Map Tent and the Trade Show in addition to the various special events. |
