Charles S. Ney Library
The Charles S. Ney Library is named after Charles S. Ney, a long-time volunteer and lecturer at the association’s Prospecting & Mining School and volunteer. At the time of his death, he served as Vice-President. The Association dedicated the library to Charles S. Ney’s memory in 1976.
The library is open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The library contains a wide variety of resources including:
- Daily newspapers
- Mineral exploration and mining-related magazines and newsletters
- Geological Survey of Canada and BC Geological Survey publications
- Books related to mineral exploration and mining
- Historical collections of industry and government yearbooks, handbooks, and journals
