• Q: I have forgotten my membership number, can I register without it?

  A: You can register without your membership number.  It is not manditory for registration.

• Q: How can I become a member of the Association for Mineral Exploration BC (AME BC) and will this lower the cost of attending Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010?

  A: You can register for membership when you register for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010.  If you register as a member, you will save $100 on your conference registration. For more information about membership to AME BC, click here.

• Q: Do I need to be a 2009 member to get the member discount?

  A: No, the member discount applies to 2010 members. You can purchase your 20010 membership when you register for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010.

• Q: What is included in the Member and Non-Member Registration?

  A: The 2010 Member and Non-Member registration allows access to the Trade Show, Technical Sessions, Non-ticketed Social and Special Events, Core Shack, Prospectors’ Tent, and the Poster Session. 

• Q: How can I find out if I am registered?

  A: Please call our registration line at 604.689.4800

• Q: What is your cancellation policy for registration?

  A: All requests for refunds must be made in writing. There will be a $52.50 ($50.00 plus $2.50 GST) handling charge for all refunds. There will be NO refunds after January 1, 2010.

• Q: Can I be an exhibitor at the 2010 Trade Show?

  A: The trade show booths for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010 are given to the exhibitors from the previous year with the first right of refusal and then any remaining and new spaces are allocated on a first come, first serve basis to the companies on the waiting list. Please contact Shannon Norris at snorris@amebc.ca to be added to the  waiting list.

• Q: Where can I find the most up-to-date information on who will be speaking in the technical sessions at the conference?

  A: Our website is updated regularly, so please visit our technical sessions page.

• Q: Who will be the keynote speakers at the luncheons?

  A: Please visit our social and special events page for this information.

• Q: Where is Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010 this year?

  A: Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010 will again be held at the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver this year from January 18 - 21, 2010.

• Q: What hotels should we stay in?

  A: Delegates can make use of a discounted rate at the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, please visit the Hotel Information page. 

• Q: Will there be a complimentary shuttle bus running this year?

  A: Yes, the shuttle bus will be operating every 30 minutes from the front entrances of the Westin Bayshore to two locations in the downtown business district (Waterfront Station and Sears).
