Roundup 2010  Prostate Cancer Screening (PSA testing)

AME BC is pleased to announce that prostate cancer screening will return for a third year at Mineral Exploration Roundup 2010 on Tuesday, January 19, and Wednesday, January 20, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

For the fourth year, the Roundup organizing committee has collaborated with the Providence Health Care and Prostate Cancer Foundation BC to offer free Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) testing. Over 200 men took advantage of the opportunity to have the simple blood test at Roundup 2009 and as a result, several lives have been saved.

Annual Health & Safety Awards Breakfast 

AME BC will honour the 2008 recipient of the Safe Day Everyday Gold Award and the David Barr Award recipient at the Annual Health & Safety Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, from 7:00 am to 8:30 am, in the Marine Room at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver.

Registration and tickets will be available for this event in early September, 2009.
