Come join us January 24 to January 27, 2011 to see the very best in industry leaders, explorationists, prospectors, investment advisors, suppliers and other students. Roundup 2011 is poised to be the best conference to date - what better time to come see the heart of this industry in one place?

Students are encouraged to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to hear our keynote speakers, attend top quality technical sessions and short courses, view the Core Shack displays and participate in the many networking events.

Registration

Students can take advantage of special student rates - all that's required is a valid student card! Click here to visit the Roundup registration page.

Student Industry Networking Event

On Sunday, January 23, the Student Industry Networking Event is back for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2011.  This one of a kind event provides an opportunity for students and industry representatives to network and discuss career opportunities and options within the mineral exploration sector, as well as other related industries. What a great opportunity to get the career advice you may need!

This event is NOT a job fair, so don't bring a resume! (However we do recommend you bring a business card that provides a bit of information about your education, experience and your contact details).

There is no charge to attend this event. Space is limited; tickets will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Limit one ticket per student.  To register for the Student Industry Networking Event, you first must register for the conference as a student. Once you have registered for the conference, send us an email (roundup@amebc.ca) with your registration invoice number and state what school you are attending to have a ticket to the Student-Industry Networking Event added to your registration. You may also contact AME BC at 604.630.3930.

Poster Session

The Mineral Exploration Roundup Poster Session highlights the activity and results of public geoscience and geoscience research activities, with a particular focus on British Columbia and the Cordillera.

An important component of the poster session is the student participation and presentation of their geoscience studies. This information continues to be an interesting source of new ideas, economic models and information of use to ongoing exploration programs. Cash prizes will be awarded for the three best student posters. Visit the Poster Session page for more information, including how to participate.
